Information Systems

The Information Systems Director is an appointed position who has general direction in the the use of information technology throughout the County offices. Responsibilities include coordination, acquisition, and support of information systems throughout the County offices.

The technology Infrastructure includes:

• Server Hardware: Our standard hardware consists of HP Servers.
• Network Environment: Information Systems administers a redundant converged TCP/IP network. This network provides Video, Voice, and Data services to all Scotts Bluff Country offices.
• Desktop Hardware: Our standard hardware consists of HP Desktops, Laptops and Laserjet Printers. We support approximately 250 desktop systems located at the various County offices.
• Web Initiatives: Our goal is to use web technology to offer as many services online 24/7 as possible to the citizens regarding various County services.
